I virtually staged a room yesterday that was very interesting! The photo had only one wall to stage and then a set of mirrors along a closet that ran the width of the room. So this picture will show the before and after photo.

Today’s virtual staging tip is simple. You have to account for more than just staging and the correct size and rotation. You have to include things like shadows and in this case reflections in mirrors and glass. After adding the bed in the mirror I rebuilt the glass frame in PS. You can take a few liberties such as adding the picture on the mirror and people will assume that it is a reflection from the wall across the room. Few people will notice that it should be flipped around in a reflection.

So look at the photo, consider time of day, straighten the photo and think about adding things such as shadows and reflections.
